Founded by sensei Dr. J. Sivasurya BDS,3rd Dan black belt and managed under Circle of Care Trust, Vortex Karate Academy is built on a vision of empowering individuals through karate, self-defense, fitness and character development.
From our flagship dojo in Padur, we now train students across Kelambakkam, Navalur, OMR and the Chengalpattu kanchipuram region — producing district, state and national-level competitors while building disciplined, confident young leaders.

Sensei.Dr. J. Sivasurya. BDS , 3 rd Dan black belt established Vortex Karate Academy with the vision of empowering individuals through karate, self-defense, fitness and character development.
His mission is to develop disciplined, confident and successful martial artists while promoting physical and mental well-being. As a Black Belt 3rd Dan and National Referee with the Karate India Organisation, he brings 8+ years of competitive and teaching experience to every Vortex student.
